Summary of Question:	What should i do about graduation ?

I am senior in high school, and i will be able to graduate in the month of may.So my question is that during graduation you have to wear a black kind of cap? So i wanted to know that is there any kind of graduation turban so that i will be proud of myself.

Wear your best and most beautiful turban. Prepare in advance. Tell the school authorities who are arranging the graduation ceremonies that you will be wearing your turban and will not be wearing a 'mortarboard' (traditional Western graduation hat). Are you wearing graduation gowns? If so, pick a turban that looks great with the gown color you will be wearing. Letting people know in advance is important. Let them know why. Tell them that the turban is always worn by Sikhs in public. When my wife graduated she was the only woman in dastar and chuni among over a hundred women in Western graduation caps. They gave her a graduation pin to wear. She looked beautiful!
