Wahe Guru Ji Ka Khalsa,
Wahe Guru Ji Ki Fateh.
The entire quote is:
"What is that word, what is that virtue, and what is that magic mantra?
What are those clothes, which I can wear to captivate my Husband Lord?
Humility is the word, forgiveness is the virtue,
and sweet speech is the magic mantra.
Wear these three robes, O Sister,
and you will captivate your Husband Lord."
What the Guru is saying is to wear the three robes of humility, forgiveness and sweet speech and, by practicing these three, you will be able to meet God. Further on that page, the Guru says: "If you desire your Beloved, do not break anyone's heart." The Guru teaches that God is within everyone, and so, in order to meet with God, it is very very important how to talk to and treat each other. You cannot say sweet prayers to God in the morning, and then speak rudely to your brother or sister in the afternoon. God cannot be won that way. Humility, forgiveness and sweet speech are habits that we practice towards one another. By acting this way with others, God will fall in love with you.
Wahe Guru Ji Ka Khalsa,
Wahe Guru Ji Ki Fateh.
