I would just like to share my personal experience. I also was blessed to have been given the opportunity to receive amrit at ten years old. As I reflect back, I realize that had I not received amrit at that tender age,as I got older, I probably would have waited until I thought I was "ready." I was able to complete my nitnem everyday, by following along with a cassette tape which is usually available from your local Gurdwara. Take the step NOW, otherwise, as we get older and become more engrossed in the world, it becomes more difficult to start the path of spirituality. May Guru Ji bless you, and embrace you within the Khalsa fold!!
