The Kaljug is a time when material values dominate over spiritual values. However, contained within the Kalyug is the Aquarian Age that we are now in. This is the time of the Khalsa consciousness prevailing. The Aquarian Age started 12 years ago and will continue for 1-2000 years.

For this Kalyug chant Ek ong kar sat nam siri wahe guru before the sun rises for 2 1/2 hours when the "channels" are most clear...this will open up the solar centers and charge the solar centers and be one with the Divine....will be liberated from the time cycles of karmas.

The exact date of the start of Kalyug I do not know. You can refer to the book "Mahan Kosh" written by Khan SIngh Nabha. Try page 1009
