Sikhism may be more active in the West at some levels. The reason being that people have seen the Western lifestyle and the spiritual vaccuum it can create. Plus living in another country some Sikhs are drawn more towards their faiths. There are also Sikhs from other races, predominantly Caucasian, who are really active and dedicated(They have created this website). But there are also Sikhs here that get absorbed by the Western lifestyle and shun their Eastern values. The choice is really for the individual to make. And there is more freedom of choice here than anywhere else. So only those people end up embracing Sikhism that really are drawn to the Gursikh way of life.
