Summary of Question:	Why So Rigid In The 21St Century?

i have liked a punjabi girl from malaysia for a long time now.we love each other and after a long time, she feared the consequences of getting closer to marriage.i am a non-punjabi and of the christian faith and this, in essence, is the problem. is there any advise for the two of us, so that we will be able to achieve our dreams and at the same time not disappoint any party(parents)in the process? another question may be to ascertain the reason behind most punjabi people's rigid nature when pertaining to marriage outside it's race/religion?

The Sikh way of life is very futuristic and modern. It beliefs and practices confirm the perfection of God conciousness in the human being. The Christian religion treats the man as an imperfect sinner. Only Jesus can be a son of God.

While we embrace all people as creations of God and respect all creation...why would a parent want their child to water down their beliefs and practices and bring up their grandchildren with division and lack of clarity from an indistinct upbringing?

Love is a passing emotion. When you are in love you cannot see clearly. That is why it is said "love is blind". But true devotion to the will of God can carry you to Infinity.

If you want to experience the power of this technology and win, then
1) surrender your love and attachment, give it to God and ask Him to manage the outcome
