I am a punjabi. My father is a sikh and my mother a hindu. My mother is divirced I have been using her last name because she spent more time at my grandparents but i was using my father last name till 9th grade. I like a girl who is a sikh and she likes me too. My mother doesn't have any problem with the marriage its her parents. What should I do to?

Go inside and meditate on which name and identity you relate to as you. Then discuss it with your girlfriend. These kinds of things are very important to discuss before a marriage. Don't wait until after the marriage to find out out yourself and your partner. Discuss, discuss, discuss...do it now. GTKK
