I have recently become intrested in special forces and am planing on joing the Naval Special Warfare Command (Navy SEALs) the Navy SEALs are sea, air, and land special forces commandos that specialize in unconvential warfare or conflicts other than war. If I pass BUD's traning (Basic Underwater Demolitions) and am assigned to a SEAL team which is a combat unit and if I'm put in a situation where I have to kill. Will i still be excepted by God and am I violating any doctrines in Sikhism by killing?

The profession of Soldier is a respected path in the Sikh Dharma. We are not pacifists and have historically fought for truth and righteousness for all. See the lives of Guru Hargobind, Guru Teg Bahadur, Guru Gobind Singh.

I have a question for you. Are you a Sikh? Will you be allowed to be a Seal with your uncut hair and turban? This is your most basic doctrine and lifestyle of Sikh Dharma.
