Summary of Question:	Are Hindu's Masterminding The Dissolution Of Sikhs Into Hinduism?

I found out about this 2 days ago and I was shocked. Did you know that Diwali does not coincide with our celebration of the Guru returning. According to the learned Gianiji in Glencove New York, he has cited his sources in a punjabi NewsPaper article that says that the Guru had infact had been released in Feburary, not October....Then why do we celebrate Diwali... which is not a Sikh festival, with deep-malas,etc. Also, I just found out that there is a political organization called the RSS. Founded in Maharashtra even before the partition, it has been a very powerfull political party ever since and is presently one of the stronger supporters of the Cngress party. On the 300th birthday of the Khalsa they announced that 8 of their top leaders became Amrit Dhari Sikhs. We should be happy Right? Well don't jump to conclusions so fast. They even appealed to all Hindu's in India that every family should make atleast one child a sikh. When I heard this I said wow, this could do wonders for the sikh identity we can g

o from a mere 20 million into the hundreds of millions in a matter of years. However, from what I am told there is the poossibility of a more sinister plan behind all this. The RSS believes that sikhism is a part of hinduism- they don't believe we are any different. In other words, they are saying that sikhs are kesadhari hindus (Hindus who keep hair). If thats the case I couldn't disagree more. I am not a Hindu and not only acknoledge but also revere my distinction from the rest of the world- Thats what Guru Gobind Singh Ji had attempted to do. Moreover, where was the RSS in 1984 when our fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters were slaughtered. Today those same slaughteres want to call us their Hindu brothers. But can we really fight this attempt to absolve us into a people of non-distinctive heritage? Think about it. Sikhs are a vital asset to India- all one has to do is go to a border posting of troops and all you see are turbans. But what happens if indeed Hindus decide to make one child in the family a S

ikh. First of all the values and beliefs of the child will be a mesh of both religions making sikhism dissolve further into the Hindu stream. Also if the number of RSS sikhs catches up to the number of present sikhs the central authority of the sikhs will be moved from the AKAL THAKT to the political gurus of the RSS. This is like fighting an enemy you can't see. I'm not calling the RSS the enemy but we need to be aware of the possibility that someone may be using religion to promote their political agenda. Should we be careful? Should we invite them with open arms? What do you think?

You have done your research and you are right to be aware. We really do not know how trus this is. Better to live in gratitude to the Creator rather than paranoia. However, I would like to point out some things to you.

Our leadership in the SGCP is so corrupt, and still the Guru prevails. My advice to you is to live your life righteously. Do not worry about them or waste your time even focusing on the negative.

Be a leader of righteous living. Be an inspiration to yourself and others and let the Guru work through you and other Khalsa's to manifest His Grace and Glory in this Aquarian Age...the age of the Khalsa as predicted by Guru Gobind Singh ji. "960 million we shall be"
