IS IT WRONG TO BREAK AND ARRANGED MARRIAGE? ME BEING FEMALE WAS BORN AND RAISED IN CANADA, I AM VERY INDEPEDANT, AND I WENT TO INDIA AND GOT ENGAGED. NOW I DO NOT WANT TO SPONSOR THIS MAN, WHO DOES NOT KNOW ANY ENGLISH, TO CANADA, HELP??? THE SANT AT THE GURDWARA GAVE US SAGAAN FIRST. LADOO

Marriage is to take you from your self to your infinite self. If you see God in your spouse, then you will become that.
If you think marriage is for other reasons, then you may not want an arranged marriage. It will challenge you to your core.
If you are not going to honor the marriage, then do not enter into it. You are the one who has to live with the decision for the rest of your life. Just don't be under the impression that "love" (or lust) marriages always work out either. Sometimes your emotions blind you. That is why marriages originally were arranged by older people. They might be able to see past the emotions.
