im a 14 yearold living in rochester hills, michigan. I have a lil delaema is that my parentz are almost forcing me to wear a full pug in 9th grade. (im in 8th rite now) i don;t think i should intil i get a nyce definition of darri. They say that a sikh boy no longer looks good wid a patka after a while - i agree, but they look at the status symbol of 9th grade and what other people do more than when its really right for me. They're confusing their opinion and the fact. I want to wait till like 10th, a good year to let some darri come in. Think this thro because its not like its india, its a HUGE change goin from patka to pug.

I believe a good time to start wearing a pugh is when your beard comes in more fully, just like you say. Personally, I didn't start wearing a pugh until college!
