Waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh!

Hi i have asked a question before and have taken the advice it has helped me a great lot, I find myself way more happy with myself. My question is my sister shaves her eyebrows-legs but does not cut her hair, my mom again is very strict about the men not shaving i understand but she is not strict with the women because she says there was no female guru and that it doesnt matter that much with woman. Whats an answer i could give her to help convince her that she must talk to her and tell her its not ok... i have asked my sister that hair is there for a reason and even gone to this site to refer her facts but she gets confused? Is it right for women to not follow the same teachings the guru has given the men including atleats covering of the head? How can we make the sikh woman more brave and make her feel as if shes just not here to give birth and cook and clean, I would love a sikh girl that had the same compassion if there are any out there email me spez10103@aol.com with your opinions. Thank you for taking

the time to read my question and am sorry if this may be similar to any past questions.

What can I say. Women are more important than men in terms of keeping their high values. A woman's values and principles are taughht and passed on to her children, the future generations. When a man falls, one man falls. When a woman falls generations fall.

Your sister needs to understand her value as a woman of God and consciousness. It is not her physical attractiveness that gives her value. Her value is the strength and grace of her character and beliefs. It is unfortunate that your mother has so little esteem to share with her daughter.
