Satnam, My question is that I have not taken Amrit yet but wish to wear a turban. I slowly want to progess towards my goal, but is it wrong to wear a turban before then. P.S. I am a female. I know that non Amritdahri Sikh men wear them, but I find for some it is just "cultural". Sorry if that last comment offended anyone.

You are right to want to wear a turban. No reason to deprive the Sikh women of this centering technology. You are right that the turban is more than a cultural declaration or decoration.
