The Khanda is also called the Adi Sahkti. This is the primal power of the Universe. It is the Generating and Organizing and Delivering(destroying) power of God...and it is represented in our Sikh symbol....of: 2 side protecting swords or Miri Piri...these swords represent earthly as well as spiritual power. They protect the central qoit or circle, which represents all creation...or birth. The central double edged sword is the Khanda...it is the sword of God which creates the Nectar, the Amrit which purify's our consciousness....it shows that all God's creation is Pure and perfect.
