Summary of Question:Question Relating To The Cutting Of Hair
Category:Other
Date Posted:Monday, 9/04/2000 12:35 AM MDT

In a previous question posed by a girl who enquired about shaving her legs, the answer given told the girl not to shave her legs as doing so would mean that god had made a mistake and this also conflicted with one of the commandments in sikhism where we are forbidden to cut hair.

If this is so, why do we cut our fingernails then? God must certainly have had a reason according to the mediator answering these questions to have our fingernails grow and by cutting them we are insisting God has made a mistake.

where do you stand on this?
