saadh sangat ji...i m a little bit confused about the daily 5 banis...from what i know according to the reht maryada, a devout sikh is supposed to recite japji, jaap and sawaiyye in the morning, rehras at sunset and sohila before sleeping...but what i m wondering is, that the banis recited during the amrit ceremony are japji, jaap, sawaiyye, benti choupai and anand sahib(1st 5 and last pauri)...probably this is the reason that some people also include benti choupai and 1st 5 and last pauri of anand in the morning banis, although these are included in rehras...then again there are others who suggest to recite all the 40 pauris of anand sahib...please do let me know what actually are the banis to be done daily.

Wahe Guru Ji Ka Khalsa, Wahe Guru Ji Ki Fathe.
The Amrit cerimony is properly done with the recitation of the complete Anand Sahib (all 40 pauris). A Khalsa should recite Japuji, Jaap, Svayia, Chopaie and Anand Sahib (complete; 40 pauris) in the Amrit Vela as well as Rehiras Sahib and Kirtan Sohila in the evening. Khalsa should start with these banis but it is also encouraged to read any other banis that inspire you, like Svayia 'Deenan', Chopaie 'Pranvo aad ekangkara...', Sukhmani Sahib, Shabad Hazarey Pathshahee Dasvee, and so on.
