hi,I'm an amritari and i'm 20 yrs old, I wear a keski and I know the reson why we have to wear a keski(its to do with looking unique and dasam dwar and protecting the radiation) I live in Malaysia(multinational country). Many people have asked me why I wear a keski on my head, and when I start explainng they look very blur and 90% of the time they don't understand, because here majority of the people are not very concern about religion and so they don't understand the dasam dwar concept or any other. In turn they have this look on their face that I know they might be thinkig "what the hell is this girl talking".
Can anyone tell me how I can explain to them in VERY simple words why we wear a keski, these people will have a better understanding.
PLEASE HELP!!!

Sat Siri Akaal. "I wear keski because it is part of my Sikh religious practice to cover my head. Thanks for asking." (Then change the subject.) If you get feedback about not all Sikhs wearing keski, then say, "you're right, they don't, but I am not all Sikhs." Then change the subject. Good luck! Guru ang sang,
