"The only reason we do not use (or better said encourage) using of Tampons - apart from medical reasons is that if you are a virgin and want to stay virgin (until marriage) you do not use Tampons (it ruptures the membrane )."
However, one thing confused me when it said: "if you are a virgin and want to stay virgin (until marriage)". Hello!!! Staying virgin or losing virginity is NOT a choice in Sikhi. As a Sikh, you should NOT have sex before marrige. After marriage, only with your husband/wife. "if you want to stay virgin" choice thing does not exist in Sikh world.
I hope I did not offend anyone.

Sat Sri Akal,
I agree that sex before marriage is forbidden in Sikhi. I interpretted "[if you] want to stay virgin (until marriage)" as "if you want to keep your membrane intact".
If I've misinterpretted, then it's important to re-iterate again that as a Sikh you should not have sex until marriage, just as you have stated.
