(REPLY) Sat Nam. Sorry to hear you seem to have lost your inspiration. I don't know what else you're doing in your life that may have affected your devotion. I'm thinking that perhaps it would make a difference if you tried reading the banis in English translation for a while, to get the meaning of the words. Sometimes we do things simply as a routine, and then there's no "juice" in the experience. Especially Guru Nanak's Japji Sahib really will restore your perspective on what life is really all about. If you have the opportunity to do a Sahej Path, I would strongly recommend it. Do you know the story of "Shangri La?" (Paradise Lost is the book by Milton) It's about a man who finds paradise, but decides to leave it, thinking he can return later. Sadly, he could not. Don't lose your pracice. Keep up, and you will be kept up! Pray for guidance and inspiration, and surely Guru will bless you. Don't lose the most precious, divine, ideal way of life that God in His infinite compassion has given us, the path of Sikhi! Are you doing seva? This is another way of staying in touch with your soul, and the soul of Sikhi. May God and Guru bless you. SP
