Summary of Question:Meat, Turban Issues

Thank you for your reply the things that does not make sense here is that the reference you make from the Guru Granth Sahib and from the holy japji shaib has a quote before "Asankh galvadh hath-eaa kamaahe." Which is ?Asankh amar kari jahi jor? which reads as Countless leave this world after establishing their kingdoms by force. Then the quote you use which should read as follows Countless are cut-throats who commit murders. The point that I am making is that it does not say about meat, it is how you interpret the meanings. The point that I made about the butter was that it came from flesh and it is used in holy purposes that?s the point I am raising.

Regarding the cow that keeps reproducing milk by itself is a false statement in every dairy cows are given chemicals to make them keep producing milk.

Define the definition of a Sikh does a person who has a turban make a better Sikh than a person who is not a turban wearing Sikh? Out of 1000 Sikhs there will be a very few who are true, out of 1000 Muslims there will be a few true one and same for Hindus etc. It is up to the individual to awake the innerself and pray and meditate and pray to god and ask the true guru to show us the way.

Sat Siri AKaal. I did not answer your prior query concerning meat. But I will tell you that though cows might be given hormones for milk producing, in a natural state, they do indeed produce milk, even if they have no calves.

You are right that the true Sikh or true Muslim, for that matter, is one who seeks to keep their faith according to the teachings, and live his or her whole life holistically as a Sikh or Muslim. In the Sikh faith, Guru has given us teachings concerning our spirit AND body, not JUST our spirit. So while a person might be a Sikh fully from his or her INNER self, if they do not also keep hair and turban, then they are not living fully as Sikhs. Does this make him or her a bad person? Absolutely not. As you said, it is an inner choice.

Guru rakha,
