i am a sikh female born and raised in the west and i think very highly of turbanned sikh men and even higher of those who do not engage in premarital relationships. and yes, i would think differently of a guy who was introduced to me and i found out that he was a virgin ... i would have even more respect for him and would want to get to know him better. you can switch the situation around and ask yourself how you would react if you found out that the girl that you were being introduced to wasn't a virgin. would it disappoint you or would you be able to accept it? being a virgin is nothing to be ashamed of veer ji, intercourse is supposed to be sacred ... shared with the one who will always be there for you, the one who you truly deeply love with all your heart and soul, not just some random person who you fancy. i'm a virgin and i want my husband to be a virgin as well, and i think it would probably bother me if i found out that he wasn't.
veer ji, you're a lawyer, think about this with a rational mind. saying that you want to marry someone from india does not gurantee that you will get a 'good girl', girls in india are just like girls anywhere else (i'm not putting down girls from india, i'm just stating that girls are the same anywhere around the world...). along with india, you could also ask your parents to look for potential brides in canada and u.s.a since those countries have large sikh populations. i admit that many girls in the u.k. do prefer clean-shaven guys, however, some do still prefer turbanned men.
don't worry veer ji, you will find your way to the one that you're meant to be with, have faith in God and He will sort things out (He always does :)).
