Hi im studying sikhism for R.E. in england, and i was wondering what sat sri akal means??? someone told me it meant 'truth is eternal' is this true?

Yes, this is true. Sat means truth, Siri means great, Akal means undying. So, "The Great, truths of truths are undying or infinite or eternal."
