HI, I've probably asked you guys 5 questions today but.. well anyways.:-)

I was browsing throuhg sikhne because my mate asked me why do sikhs wear a Kara, I replied because it show that I'm Sikh, she said that that's not fair because were( she's Christian) not allowed to wear a necklace with a Cross on it. i said that's different, she replied by saying but the cros symbolises christianity. so one of my questions is " DID I SAY THE RIGHT THING- WE WEAR IT AS A SYMBOL OF OUR RELGI0N" and my second question is " HOW CAN WE USE A KARA FOR SELF DEFENCE"

Yes to both of your questions. I was confused, though, about the cross part of your question. Are you saying that its OK to wear a cross? The cross is also a symbol for Christians. If you wear a cross does it mean you are a Christian. You tell me. It does seem to be contradictory. GTKK
