Summary of Question: | Please Help Me.... |

I hope that I am not asking u silly questions, but I would like for you to answer them in order for me to build my knowledge on my religion.
I have three questions
1.I recite banis and shabhads every day, but sometimes when I am in the train for example or do everyday things, these banis and shabhads come to my mind automatically. I then begin to chant and sing them in my head when I am in the train, but then I feel bad because in the train I have nothing to cover my head with. Is this wrong for me to do???
2.does waheguru write our fate, our kismet, or does waheguru place us on this earth to see what we do, as in how many sins or prayers we do etc?
3.I have severe acne; have done so for the past 11 years of my life. I am an adult now. In these last 11 years I have tried everything to help my acne but nothing works. I have been to doctors, skin specialists, changed my diet but nothing happens. Is there some kind of prayer I can recite to help my skin get better? Is this my punishment for my previous life?
I hope that I have not asked you something wrong, u all do a great job here at sikhnet. I look forward to a response.
Many thanks

My dear sweet one.
Thank you for your great questions.
1.When you recite Bani's and shabds we cover our head. It gives something to you . So, you can carry a small scarf and cover your head while reciting on the train. All else, the songs and words that come to your mind here and there not a problem because they are all in the flow. (Yet, it does bring to my thoughts about this is exactly why Sikh women can wear turbans as well as men.)
2. We make our way in this world through our actions. Every action has a reaction equal and opposite. Every word you speak has an impact. So in this way
we have events in our lives that relate to actions occurring in this life or a previous incarnation. Simran and meditation especially that done in the Amrit Vela (4am to 7 am) clear out these events.
3.Your skin is a cleansing organ and should be dealt with nutritionally. You must keep trying and not give up. Network with other people w/ skin problems and find a natural healer that can address your problem nutritionally not medically.
Cut OUT SUGAR/CHOCOLATE/CAFEENE/CARBONATED BEVERAGES/FRIED FOOD/even wheat can be a problem. Meditating and relaxing more, exercising and sweating to flush out through your lymph glands....so much you can do with the correct guidence.
Blessings to you,
SKKK
