Somewhere on this site it was mentioned that "Bani, Bana, Simran and Seva" are the four pillars of Sihism. Can you please explain me the meanings of the words and also how Guruji instructed us to apply them to our lives.

(REPLY) Sat Nam. 1.) BANA -- We dress distinctively, as directed by Guru Gobind Singh so that we have the courage to be stand out and be identified as Sikhs/Khalsa. Neer cutting hair, wearing turbans. 2)BANI --Reciting Guru's Words, doing Paath daily. 3) SEVA-- Selfless service, without looking for thanks or reward; serving the God in all. 4) SIMRAN -- Remembrance of God's Name througout the day.
