Category:General Sikhism

Is it really true that we were the fighters of the Hindus or that the Hindus couldn't defend them selves so from there our rligion started? Why did it started like this. Not offending the religion but expressing my feelings. I some times i feel bad about this. No offence. I always thought that Guru Nanak Dev Ji started it by scratch. If it is true how should i put it in a way that i feel happy but not bad about it

No this is not the case. The way of life of the Sikhs was started by the revelation of Guru Nanak that we are all part of the creation of God. We are one family. The religion came about to address the corruption and repression of the time by the assorted religions.

There is a book called "The Sikh Guru's" by Duggal. You can read it to educate yourself and to feel better.
