Sat Siri Akal

Iīm asking this question because I coudnīt find an answer in the "search".
I live in Mexico. Nobody knows the Sikh religion here or never heard abou it. Some people like to make fun of me. They yell many things that sometime before upset me, but after a while I understand that is incorrect to react. Many people ask me about Turban, beliefs, etc. Some of them ask because they are really courious, and some other ask just for bothering. Any way what Iīm telling you that I consider that I am a very calm person. I learned that "reaction" is wrong. (This is not a situation I live every day, but is very common)
Few days ago I was walking in the street and pass near a crowd of people and somebody hit my turban (strong). I stoped and went few steps back in order to look for the agressor (and hit him back). There were many persons there, all of them looked at me and I just asked who was the person that hit me. Nobody answer and coudnīt find the agressor. I was really upset and I felt that me and my religion was not being respected. I just walked away.
I know I have to ingnore when somebody insult me, I always do it and dont get angry. But what should you do when a person hit your turban, or something like that? I mean when someone bothers you in a fisic way? I think I should fight because cannot sue them, I mean, I dont know the name of the person or anything. If a person hits you just "because"... ...Probably they dont want to hear anything from you. What is your opinion?
Thank you
P.S. I hope you understand my english, is not my native language.

That was a tough situation.
It has been a while since that person hit your turban. I am sure you have had time to reflect.
You could have hit that individual, but you did not know who hit you. Right? Then no one offered any information to you so....you were left feeling angry and upset.

I think those people were really testing you to see how you would act. They were acting foolish. You reacted to their foolishness. Next time, react with a smile and bless them and knock their hat off. Every action comes back to the doer. Good begets good and negative actions attract more negativity.
