Hi There. I have an important question.

How important is it to choose a religion and strictly follow it ?
Is it ok to just praise God as much as you can without strictly following a religion ? This means try to practice all the good things sikhism teaches or any other religion teaches and simply Love God and Praise God. Help the needy etc. Personally speaking, This is how i feel and This is what i do and intend to do in future.

- Think of God, Guru ji, Jesus (I really like Jesus and I really like Guru Nank)
- Praise God, Praise Guru ji
- Read Bible Quotes on different aspects, accept what i believe is truth and practice it
- Listen to Gurbani
- Recite Gurbani inorder to praise Guru ji and God
- Take Bible classes, as teacher talks about God in english and i understand it much better and it keeps me thinking about God and on the path of praising God

I guess this makes me neither a SIKH nor a CHRISTIAN but i love God and Praising God daily, Bringing the habbits of Godly person in my life is one of the most important things in my life.

You guys are at a higher level of spirituality - what do you think, please feel free to have your say. Do you think God accepts and loves some one like me ?

Sat nam. You do not need approbation from us to relate to God in a particular way. Everyone relates to God according to their own understanding. We/Sikhnet are not here to judge whether or not you are Sikh or Christian or a mixture or neither. Every person should pray, worship, and meditate in the way he/she is comfortable. For some that is as a Sikh, or as a Christian. And many people today make their own way that has no set definition or moniker. No big deal.

It goes against the Sikh teachings to say 'your way is wrong' and 'our way is right.' God is within everyONE, and informs all the Creation. Know this for yourself through your own practice and stop looking for God outside of you, but know also that if you cannot see God in all, you cannot see God at all. guru ang sang,
