A while ago myself and one other person asked the question, "Where can I get a Kara?" A youth forum moderator replied "You can get a kara from Golden Temple Enterprises:800-829-3970 or gtent@newmexico.com". I got in contact with both these sources. Golden Temple said they didn't sarry them and didn't know where to get them. gtent@newmexico.com said "We have no idea." when asked where to get a Kara.

I find it hard to understand how it could be so hard to find a Kara. There is no online source for them. Everyone has one but doesn't know where to get one. There is no Gurudwara where I live. I have talked with INdian and American Sikhs here and they all say know one is even doing anything as a religious community. Is there no way I will be able to get a kara what to speak of the other of the 5 K's?

I am sorry to hear that you have not yet found your kara.
Most Gurdwara's will have 5 kaka's available from the Granthi's (head priest).
