1) i used to do 5 bani's path almost everyday. i am not amritdhari but i wear all the kakars including kirpan (i am practicing of wearing kirpan - i want to take amrit in the future). now i just do rehras sahib and kirtan sohila. i am scared. i do not read gurbani correctly. i am scared that i will be punished if i say a word incorectly. so i just do 2 bani's path. but i want to do all the banis. please tell me what to do. and i have heard that if you wear kirpan you have to do 5 bani's path and get up early in the morning or you will be punished. is this true?
2) when you pull a bandage from your skin, sometimes hairs get stick to your bandage. then is it wrong to wear a bandage?
thank you

1. Where on earth do folks get this idea that one will be PUNISHED for being human???? Balderdash.
Do your best. If you can't manage the Gurmukhi at all (and some non-Indian Sikhs don't have the skills to learn it), then read the English translations. It is every Sikh's responsibility to attempt to learn Gurmukhi and proper pronounciation. There are MANY recordings of all the banis out there, there are romanized (transliterated) versions, etc etc. Go to the downloads section on Sikhnet.com for starters.
We're all human. Idea of Amrit is a COMMITMENT to the discipline. Not a sword of perfection hanging over our imperfect heads!
2. Everyone please stop acting like some hair falling out or coming out naturally is wrong. Bandaids pulling off hair is NOT a kurehit. Please use common sense on these things. Ask yourself if Guru would be upset if a couple of skin hairs came off with his bandages. You think that didn't happen to him after his battle wounds?
Guru ang sang,
