Summary of Question:	I Am Pregnant And My Husband Is Cheating On Me

I am very worried, I am 12 weeks pregnant and I found out my husband is having freindships with other women- I do not know in this instance how pyhiscal but in the past he has had phyiscal releationships with other women. He travels alot with his work. I really thought we had worked things out but was shocked to find is up to it again.
I do part and value my releationship with god and could never go ahead with a termination, but I don't know about my marriage and being a single mum. I can't continue to live with my husband and his lying.please help.

(REPLY) Sat Nam. Your husband may or may not be cheating on you, but you need to talk seriously to him about the responsibilities of bringing a child into the world. EVery child needs two parents, two parents who love each other and can give the child the security of a cozy home environment. Are you and your husband "praticing" Sikhs? What I'm asking, is, do you read your banis? Do you live according to the teachings of our Gurus? Sikh Dharma provides guidance and strength to meet life's challenges with courage and wisdom. In your current situation I would like to suggest that in addition to reading the banis daily, you prayerfully meditate on blessing your husband to become a "saint" as you recite the section of Rehiras that begins: "Rag Asa, Mahela Chotan So Purkh." REciting the "So Purkhs" 11 times a day is recommended as a powerful way to bless a husband, and bring out the best in him. As women, we have a lot of power to influence men. Instead of being angry and hurt (which is certainly understandable) try to imagine and picture and believe that he is faithful and true, and project that vibration to him. Be so kind and loving to him that he will not want to go elsewhere for affection or even friendship. Your prayers can be effective! Try this for 40 days, and see what happens. Let us know.
