Summary of Question:	Can't Stop Trimming!

Gurfateh!

Although I wear a turban, I still trim my beard short. In recent years my love for Sikhi has grown and I do a lot more paat than I used to but I still can't stop trimming my beard! I realise that this is mostly due to me thinking that I 'look good' like this and want attention from the opposite sex,but I also know that I should keep my beard uncut and I truly want to become Khalsa but I cant stop myself from trimming!!
I also try to do naam simran whenever I can but I have trouble concentrating and usually wander off into other thoughts or get lazy and give up!
Could you please give me some advice, as at the moment my Sikhi and spirituality feel like they are not improving or progressing much.

You are in duality!. Either love trimming your beard or just stop. But stop driving yourself crazy. You are just at the edge of your advance. Let go of your insecurity. The perfect God created you perfect. You are beautiful, you are handsome, your beard is virule and attractive.

A trimmed beard is stubbly and irritating to your lady love. Give her a soft silky beard to cuddle up to. How's that for the opposite sex and attractability?

Trick yourself and take the next step. You and God will love you and move you along!

Your beard hairs can be oiled and flattened....you can train your beard.
