Summary of Question:	Can Girls Go To The Gurdwara On Their Periods?

When a female is going through her menstrual cycle, is it bad for her to sit near the guru granth sahib or is it bad for her to go to the gurdwara? Some people don't go when they're on it, and some people still do.. What do you think is right?

A woman can go to her Guru at any time. Your menstrual period makes no difference whatsoever. The only things you should avoid when your menstrual flow is heavy is doing heavy exercise or lifting, postures where your legs are elevated over your head (like headstand), and bathing in very cold water. Otherwise, you can do anything you like. A woman is not "impure" when she has her period. This is only superstition.
