Summary of Question:	Why Muslims, Why Not Hindus..I Am Confused.

Dear Moderators,

Sat Nam,

I was wondering why we sikhs, esp. the indian sikhs hate muslims but not hindus. Both of these communites have been equally bad to us and some members of these communites have been of great help also.

Let me state a few examples. The foundation stone of the Akal Thakt was lasid by a muslim. Peer buddhu Shah killed his own son and burried him in his own house and said to the migal army that the boll din the bottle was Guru Jee blood. But we know that thousands of Sikhs we killed alive. 5 of our Guru Jee's were killed my Muslims.

Hindus on the other hand have been back stabbing us ever since. Maharaja Ranjit Singh trusted them and they brought about the downfall of the Khalsa Raaj. The Chote Sahibzada and Guru Jee's mother were captured because their attendent a hindu handed them over to the moghals for a monitory award. We all know what happened in 84 and the years after. However Hindus have been good to us too, my dad's 1st cousin was saved by a Hindu family during the 84 riots.

Then why is it that we hate Muslims more than hindus, arent they as bad.

Sat Sri Akal,

I can't say why "we" hate Muslims more - I guess it's just that what the Muslims did (i.e., invading India back in the day) was much lucent than the little things here and there that Hindus did.

HOWEVER, a Sikh should hate NO ONE. All are equal, all are Waheguru, everyone is your brother and sister. A Sikh should hate no one - ever. Even Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj did not hate the people who came and killed.

Maybe instead of wondering why "we" hate certain people, spend time on trying to find the good qualities of everyone. Focus on being positive, and if people do bad things, then I'm sure you know your duty.
