Wahe guru ji ka khalsa wahe guru ji ki fateh. My question is I read gure granth sahib ji, I do sejh path, but when I am reading I think I can understand what it means. Sometimes when I go to Gurdwara and listen to the Katha the meaning of some of the shabads is totally different than what I was thinking. Is that pap to carry on reading when I don't understand the meaning of it. When I take hukamnama in the morning at least I can look at our sikhnet and find the meaning of it. Pls advise me.
Thanks

Sat Sri Akal,
There is nothing at all wrong with reading Sri Guru Granth Sahib and not understanding it! Reading paath is beneficial whether you understand it or not. So keep on reading! And try to learn as much as you can, it makes it much more enjoyable and effective.
Gur Fateh,
HSD
