DHAN BABA NANAK.

To all those who love sewa not just because it is our duty but because we think that Sewa is the way to Humanity Path. We often describe that "let's go gurudwara, Mandir, Masjid or any Holy places in a world and do Sewa" Is this what Sewa mean? Is Sewa only done in Holy places? With all of your blessing i have tried to learn what Sewa really mean. I might be wrong ( after all i am a small Human)Look at the history one thing we learn is Sewa is the most difficult path that we walk on.Being in Gurudwara we learn what Sewa is. keeping Sat-Sangat shoes shows that we should never have any ego in us. Serving water in Gurudwara teaches us to share our love and help those who in need. When we serve food to Sat-sangat we do learn that we should always share our 10% of our share to the poor. After all Sewa is human destiny. In the Bible the word has been written that on the 6 day God created man. After the word "Man" no religion, cast, skin colour has been written which says We all are Human. Be humble, loving, caring forget who we are, then only enjoy the life of Sewa. Seeing other being happy is the result of our Sewa. What Sewa could we give to the Creator? The one who give us life and everything what could we give Him in return? Nothing....just take care of His creation, love, care and respect. I think Sewa is the best way to reach God, cause in everyone God lives and throught Sewa we could reach everyone's heart. Please share with me ur knowledge, we all are in a ocean and looking for a boat....I need ur help and u need my help. Let's forget who we are, what we are and start a morning with a word " Dear God bless me that i may walk your path and complete my work so that i can always stay at thy Holy feet"

Wahe Guru Ji Ka Khalsa, Wahe Guru Ji Ki Fathe
You have all of the answers already. Seva is selfless service of God. God is everywhere, within and without everything and everyone, serve anything with love, honesty, humility and devotion to God and you are doing a seva.
God bless you,
