(REPLY) Sat Nam. I cannot imagine how in the world you could even consider having a Roman Catholic wedding! As a Sikh, though we respect all other religions, we do NOT worship or bow to any "person." We can love Jesus the Christ, but certainly not take wedding vows from a Catholic Priest. You are not thinking clearly. If you are determined to be married - in which case you will have to deal later on probably with the problem of how your children will be secure in their identity: as Sikhs? as Christians? they can't be both! -- anyway, just get a civil ceremony, so that you do not insult your heritage by being married in by a Priest. I know that being in love seems like everything is going to be rosy and wonderful forever, but believe me, marriage is not easy even for people of the same religion and cultural background. Please do not betray your faith to please your fiancee. She must respect your heritage, and you can respect hers, but you do NOT insult your own consciousness for anyone. May God and Guru give you wisdom and courage to live righteously. SP
