Summary of Question: | Marriage Without Parental Acceptance |

I have a friend, who just recently married a boy whom she loves. Both are Sikhs, but the girl's parents are not willing to accept this boy as their son-in-law, which is why they had to secretly marry in court.
The problem is, that they want to have Lavaan too, but it is not possible to do so in their city, because no one in the Gurdwara will be willing.
Can they go to a Gurdwara in another city in the UK and ask them to get them married even though there won't be any family present?
This is very urgent so I would really appreciate it if you give a reply as soon as possible.
Sat-Shri-akal
(REPLY) Sat Nam. I can't answer for the Gurdwaras in the UK. Your friends should contact them directly and ask. SP
