In regards to the brother who wishes to convert to Sikhism.

My suggestions would be that you attend a Gurdwara nearby to you or if you are university, join the Sikh Society.

It may help you on your journey if you have Sangat (society) which will help you and guide you to Sikhism. Having some practicing Sikh friends will definately help you.
