Why do we call our pugg or dastar a turban. Turban what muslim wear, not us.

call it a pugg or a puggri and other one a dastar or a patka. we don't have to use their terms.

Maybe for Punjabis. But for people in the West, the ENGLISH word for something wrapped around the head is "turban" whether it is wrapped SIkh style, african style, muslim-style, nomad style or what. That's why we who are not Punjabi born call Sikh dastar 'turban'. Thank you.
