Is the origin of punjabi also from sanskrit?
and i want to knw before the birth of sikhism punjabi was written in persian, but punjabi is as old as other languages that is before mughals came to india. In what scrript was punjabi written before mughals came to india.

You are correct. Punjabi is an old language related to Sanskrit. Punjabi is a language of a region, Punjab. It was written in Persian script way before Guru Angad created the Punjabi script for reading and writing Gurmukhi.
