Summary of Question:	How Did Waheguru's Name Come To Be?

I go to classes called Gurmat classes. There, I learned that Gods name, Waheguru, went through alot of things before becoming a perfect word. The word Waheguru developed through other languages before it became Waheguru. I would like to know HOW His name became Waheguru.

This is a development of sounds that is part exclamation of ecstacy:
Wha......or Wahe
and Guru: That which take us from darkness to light
Gu: from darkness
ru: to light
All together we have the ecstasy of "that sacred sound" which is the vehicle to transports us from our small self to the "all self" or God.
