SatNam,
Hi, My father is a person who likes to eat meat. I have learnt to accept this, as it is the command of our Lord, Lord Vaehguru.
However, i would like to know if it is ok for him to do what he does:
Say he will eat meat today, then in the morning of tomorrow he will do his regular routine of Guru dha Perkash (waking of Sri Guru Granth Shaib).
Since the meat is still within him, is it ok for him to do this. Same thing with alcohol.
Guru Fateh.
Akaal. :")

(REPLY) Sat Nam. sorry to hear of these habits of your father. Whether it is "OK" is between him and God and Guru. If your father chooses to pollute himself with alcohol and meat, that is his choice, and his karmic responsibility. Not yours. Please pray for him to live as Khalsa, and drop these habits. Meanwhile, keep yourself free from such self-defeating practices so that you can walk tall, knowing that you are living up to the Guru's teachings. Blessings,
